John, the son of John H. Lott and Abigail Conklin, is the husband of (1) Lucretia Cisco, (2) Jerusha Skinner and (3) Elizabeth Decker Babcock. He is buried in the Sparrowbush Pine Hill Cemetery, in Sparrowbush, Orange Co., New York.
