I'm glad you found my site on the internet.
I have been collecting and recording information about my family for the past 10 years - something I find incredibly interesting and challenging. Over this time, I have met and corresponded with numerous people ... all looking for more information about who we are and where we come from.
This site is, and always will be, a work in progress. With the move to this new site, I am starting to include photos of family members - as well as vital records and tombstone pictures. If you find a discrepancy, the fact that I have not included you as a source, or if you would like to include your own pictures, please contact me.
The focus of my research right now are the following surnames: BET, BONGERGA, BORTOLI, CHUCH, CONSTANTINE, CRAPO, DAVEY, DONOVAN, FENNER, GATES, HILL, HODIS, HUCKER, HULETT, JOHNSTON, KIDDER, LADD, LAWTHER, OAKLEY, PADELFORD, POLLAND, POPA, RANSOM, RICHARDSON, SLASON/SLAWSON/SLAUSON/SLOSSON, STARK, WELLS, WHEELER, WILBER/WILBUR, WILLIS, and WILLIAMS ... just to mention a few.
ATTENTION Slawson/Slauson Families from Alabama
It has been brought to my attention that the 'Slawson book' by George C. Slawson has omitted a very important line of Slawson/Slauson families - those that went to Lowndes County, Alabama sometime before 1820. Since most of the early records of Alabama are missing, it has become quite a challenge to accurately record this branch. If you're from this line or have information, please contact me
... as your help is needed. THANK YOU!
Please check my "Most Wanted"
page, which contains my brick walls and photos that I have no information for. If you can help me with these brick walls, I would REALLY appreciate it. If you find an ancestor on this site that happens to be a brick wall for you, please let me know. I would be more than happy to add your "most wanted" to the list.
Please use this site as a reference for your own exploration of your family members. Hopefully, you'll find something interesting and perhaps we'll find that we're related!
Feel free to drop me a note or make a suggestion by using the "Contact Us"
