Alonzo, the son of Elijah Godfrey and Catharine Slawson, is the husband of (1) Harriet Waterman, (2) Betsey Douglas and (3) Susan Joslin. He is buried in the Campbell Cemetery in Parma, jackson Co., Michigan.
