      Emma M. Brown
      Funeral for Emma M. Brown, 86, 201 N. 9th, was Monday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. Alan Hartway officiating. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery.
      She died Saturday at her home following a long illness. Born July 20, 1898 in Cloud County, she had been a lifetime Finney County resident.
      She married Perry A. Brown in Garden City in 1920. He died May 29, 1968.
      Mrs. Brown was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Society.
      Survivors include a son, LeRoy, 111 N. 9th; a brother. Leo Marcotte, 607 N. 10th; a sister, Lena Marcotte, 305 W. Fulton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
      Phillips-White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
