    Name:
    Richard Chetwode and Elizabeth Needham had four sons and seven daughters. She died in 1629. He attempted to establish his right to the Barony of Woodhull but his claim was not accepted by King James who offered only (doubtless on payment) a new patent which Sir Richard refused as a "derogation of his claim." He had the advowson of Odell, co. Bedford, and presented Edward Bulkeley, D.D., in 1605, and later his son Peter.
