Edward V Plantagenet, son and heir born in sanctuary at Westminster on 4 Nov. 1470 while his father was in exile, succeeded father as King of England 9 Apr 1483, but was deposed by his uncle Richard, Duke of Gloucester, 25 June 1483, before he had been crowned said to have died in the Tower, with his brother Richard, but appears to have been living at the accession of King Henry VII; if murdered, then at the direction of that King rather than by King Richard III.
