    The daughter of the late Edward G. and Katherine Willis Kane, she was born on March 8, 1924 in Oakridge, NJ.
    She was a retired assembler for the Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis, NY.
    She is survived by three sons, Larry Berry Sr., of Milford, Leonard of Shohola, and Lawrence of Saylorsburg; her daughter, Geraldine Marks of Milford; her brother, Grant Kane of Honesdale; her sister, Edna Sensky of Layton, NJ; eight grandchildren, Donna, Brenda, Landa, Larry Jr., Douglas, Michael, Melissa, and Jason; four great grandchildren, Andrew, Luke, Kayla, and Brandon.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Lester P. Berry, several brothers and sisters, and her granddaughter, Patricia.
    Funeral service was held at Stoyan Funeral Home in Milford on Thursday, October 14 with Reverend Rodney Ryle officiating.
    Burial will take place in Delaware Cemetery in Dingmans' Ferry.
    Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Pike Unit, 110 West Harford Street, Milford, PA.

    Bethany, PA - Grant Kane, age 82, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Born on March 24, 1929 to the late Edward and Katherine Willis Kane, he had formally lived in Hamburg before moving to Bethany, PA. Mr. Kane had served in the National Guard of the United States Army. He had been one of the original founders of the Hamburg First Aid Squad and served on the Hamburg Town Council. He had also been a member of the Lions Club in Honesdale for many years. Mr. Kane had been employed at DuPont in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey as a Stationary Engineer for 36 years and had retired 25 years ago.

    He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph, George, Martin, John, David, Allen, Lenora Rome, Serena Powell, Edna Sensky, and Sarah Berry. Mr. Kane is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Edward Kane; his daughter, Lorie Kane Henderson and her husband Alan of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Vanessa Henderson of Lansing, MI, Andrew Henderson of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23) Sussex. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 7-9 p.m.. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Wayne Memorial Hospice, 601 Park Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
