Athala Petty Hisaw King, 87, passed away March 15, 2013 at The Hospice of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be 10am-1pm Monday at Westside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst. Services will be 1pm Monday at Westside Baptist Church with burial at Sardis Cemetery.

Mrs. King had been a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church since 1980. The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. V. and the ICU nurses; Fabian, Ann, Dawn and Tony.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, a son, a grandson and a great grandson.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Doodie) Trahan and husband Ronald of Greenwell Springs, LA, Brenda Campbell of Baton Rouge, LA, Joyce Polito and husband Jay of Greenwell Springs, LA, Kosett Hisaw of Pearl and Sandra Thompson and husband David of Cranston, RI; special friend, Ann Hebert; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
