    Notes:

    Name:
Abraham Ambler served in Rev. under Col Thaddeus Crane in 4th Regt., Westchester militia. The census of 1790 places him in Salem, Westchester Co., with a household of 4 females. He removed to Canaan, Columbia Co., N.Y., about 1790. On 10 Nov., 1794, he and wife Rhoda, being of Canaan, deeded to Abraham Raymond of Norwalk, Conn., a 50 acre farm in Canaan. Early Columbia Co. land recs. are unsatisfactory as much land was held on leases. Probably he removed to Nassau, Rensselaer Co, about 1800. His later years were spent on a farm on the west shore of Lake Tsatsawassa, Nassau, and there on the rubbish heap of an abandoned barn the compiler found the g.s. of Abraham and Rhoda Ambler in 1932.

Family/Spouse: Rhoda KEELER. Rhoda (daughter of Silas KEELER and Abigail ELMER) was born on 30 Dec 1766 in Ridgefield, Connecticut; died on 14 May 1813. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Abraham married Ruanna BOLAND in 1814. Ruanna was born on 1 Jul 1770; died after 1851. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
