Janice "Kaye" Kimpel, 58, of Parkersburg, died at 4:16 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2014, at her residence.

Graveside services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg with Pastor David Goff officiating.

Mrs. Kimpel was born November 7, 1955, in Edwards County, the daughter of Lewis Kenneth and Betty Gail (Paddick) Bare. She married Steven Kimpel. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2005.

Kaye loved to can vegetables and plant a large garden. She liked to spend time with family and friends.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Bare, of West Salem; daughter, Stephanie Beasley, of Olney; son, Seth Kimpel, of Olney; sister, Kathy Lacoax, of West Salem, sister, Brenda Knapp, of Grayville, sister, Rita Jones, of Ellery, sister, Marjorie Bare, of West Salem; brother, Mark Bare and wife, Gennie, of Olney; and grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Kimpel, and her father.
