    Lillie Bare, 89, of West Salem, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at Richland Memorial Hospital.

    Services will be Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery north of West Salem.

    Bare was born Feb. 3, 1908 in Lawrence County, the daughter of George and Mary (Barton) Morris. She married Roy Bare, March 18, 1927 in Albion. He preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1961.

    She was a homemaker and did housework and cared for people when they were sick.

    She is survived by three sons; Robert and Kenneth Bare, both of West Salem and Gerald Bare of Calhoun; two daughters, Doris Greifzu and Sue Scott, both of Olney; one sister, Sadie Craig, of Mt. Carmel; 35 grandchidren and 56 great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, George, Neil and Leroy Bare; three brothers; George, Walter and Floyd Morris; three half-brothers, John, William and Charlie Shaw; three sisters, Alene Reiffel, Beulah Williams and Edna Ibbotson; two half-sisters; Gertie Painter and Bessie Stingle; two grandson, Jeremy Leigh and Darnell Bare and one granddaughter, Linda Bare.

    George W. Bare, 69, of Albion, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 1997, at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion, with Rev. Timothy Eis officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

    Bare was born Nov. 28, 1927, in Edwards County, the son of Roy and Lillie (Morris) Bare.

    He retired from Harris Drilling Company in 1977.

    He is survived by his mother, of West Salem; eight sons, Rick Bare and Gary Bare, both of Grayville; Lony Bare, of Browns, Jerry Bare, of Mill Shoals, and Tracy Bare, Troy Bare, Shane Bare and Greg Bare, all of Albion; three daughters, Shirley Newman, of Grayville, Ginger Stone, of Mackinaw, and Becky Miller, of Albion; three brothers, Robert Bare and Kenneth Bare, both of West Salem, and Gerald Bare, of Calhoun; two sisters, Doris Mae Greiszu, of West Salem, and Sue Scott, of Olney; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his father, a son, Darrell, a daughter, Linda Martin, two brothers, Leroy and Neil Bare, and two grandchildren.

    Lewis Kenneth Bare, 67, of West Salem, died Friday, December 9, 2005, at his residence.

    Funeral services at First Christian Church. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

    Mr. Bare was born January 22, 1938, in Edwards County, the son of Roy and Lillie (Morris) Bare. He retired from Champion Laboratories as an assembly worker. He was a member of First Christian Church in West Salem. He was an avid gardener and loved his family and friends.

    He is survived by his son, Mark A. Bare and his wife, Gennie, of Olney; daughters, Kay Kimpel, of Parkersburg, Kathy Lacoax, of West Salem, Brenda Knapp, of West Salem, Rita Jones, of Ellery, and Marjorie Bare, of Olney; brothers, Robert Bare and his wife, Anna Mae, of West Salem, and Gerald Bare and his wife, Dianna, of Calhoun; sisters, Sue Scott and her husband, James, of Olney, and Doris Greifzu and her husband, Russell, of Olney; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and his dog, Cody.

    Mr. Bare was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Neil, George and Leroy Bare; grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Jeremy Leigh, Tina Knapp and sons-in-law, David Jones and Steve Kimpel.

    Kenneth was married to Betty Paddick.
