    Name:
    Mrs. Almo Elliott, 47, member of a well known Dodson family, died Tuesday in a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness. She was a member of the Dodson Baptist Church.

    Surviving are her husband, Almo Elliott and three daughters, Nelwyn of Dodson; Miss Sue Belle Elliott, 2nd Lieutenant in the Army, stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas; Mrs. H. R. Jackson, of Shreveport; and three sisters, Mrs. Maggie McBride of Weston, Mrs. W. H. Barr and Mrs. W. B. Fowler of Jonesboro.

    Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Baptist Church with the Rev. E. W. Townsend, pastor, of Hodge, and Rev. H. B. Hysell, of Winnfield, officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery.

    Acting as pallbearers were W. H. Barr, Dan McBride, W. B. Fowler, W. C. Webb, C. W. Edwards, and Hugh Larson.
