    Albert McKinley Emerick, 68, of Fayette City, R.D. 1 died this morning at 1:30 in Charleroi - Monessen Hospital.

    A retired plasterer he was born Sept. 2, 1898 in Monessen, son of John and Ella Fisher Emerick.

    Surviving are: his widow, Luetta Biles Emerick; nine sons, Charles of Monessen, theodore of Fayette City, R.D., Orie of Morrisville, Pa., Duwane of Midland, Pa., Albert Aaron of Allenport, John of Hookstown Pa., Sheridan of Fayette City, Gerald of Akron, Ohio, Robert of Turtle Creek, one daughter, Mrs. Philip (Alberta) Palmer of Monessen, 33 grandchildren; and one brother, Leroy of Lynwood.

    Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCory Funeral Home, Fayette City.

    Alberta Jean Palmer, 77, Monessen, died Tuesday, jan. 20, 2004, in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1926, in Fayette City, a daughter of the late Albert Emerick and Luetta Biles Emerick. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Ann Palmer of Monessen, three sons, Norman Palmer of Monessen, Joseph Palmer and wife Michelle of Fairfax, VA., and John Palmer and wife Linda of Monessen; 10 grandchildren, Mrs. Russ (Bobbi Jo) Morgan, John "Bubba", Phillp, Travis, Shaun, Lisa, John Carlos, Thomas, Jonathan and Sarah Palmer; two great-grandchildren, Stacia Morgan and Jacob Palmer; three borthers, Gerald Emerick of Akron, Ohio, John Emerick of Belle Vernon, and Robert Emerick of Fayette City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Palmer; one son, Phillip Palmer Jr.; six brothers, Orie, Sheridan, Charles, Duwane, Theodore and Albert Aaron Emerick; and one Sister, Joyce Ann. Friends will be received at the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.

    Orie E. Emerick, 72, of Perryopolis, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in South Greensburg. Born April 7, 1930 in Fayette City, he was a son of the late Albert and Luetta Biles Emerick. In addition to his parents, Mr. Emerick was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, DuWayne, Theodore, Albert and Sheridan Emerick . He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Eleanor Milan Emerick; one son, Gregory Lee Emerick and wife Beth Ann of Johnstown; one daughter Yvonne, of Perryopolis; two grandchildren; april Ann and Brian Joseph Emerick, both at home, three brothers Robert, of Smithton, John Emerick and wife Darlene of Belle Verson, and gerald Emerick and wife Joyce of Akron, Ohio; and one sister, alberta Palmer of Monessen. The family will receive friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front St., Brownsville, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 19 from 10 to 11 a.m. when funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Paul E. Wilson Sr., of Brownsville United Methodist Charge. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill. Military Rites will be accorded by the Hopwood AMVETS 103.

    The birth and death dates were found on the Social Security Death Index. I am not sure even if this is the correct Duwane. I do know that he died before his brother, Sheridan, who died in Nov. 2001. I have not been able to locate an obituary notice for Duwane. I will leave as is, until, I find otherwise.

    Albert Aaron Emerick, 61, of Henry Street, Belle Vernon, died Sunday March 15, 1998, in Mon Valley Hospital.

    He was born Sept. 15, 1936, in North Charleroi, a son of the late Albert and Luetta Biles Emerick.
    Mr. Emerick was Protestant by faith.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Theodore J. Emerick on Jan. 9, 1998.

    Survivors include his wife, Phyllis McCrory Emerick; a son, Matthew Burnell of the state of Colorado; two daughters and a son-in-law, Valerie and Larry Eckman of Perryopolis and Belinda Emerick at home; a granddaughter, Morgan Eckman; five brothers, Orie of Perryopolis, Gerald of Akron, Ohio, John of Belle Vernon, R.D.2., Sherdan of Donora and Robert of Steubenville, Ohio; and a sister, Alberta Palmer of Monessen.

    Friends will be received in the Eley McCrory Funeral Home, Inc. 334 main St., Fayette City today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 11 a.m.

    John R. Emerick, 67, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at his home. Born in Brownstown, Pa., on Feb. 24, 1939, he was the son of the late Albert and Luetta (Biles) Emerick. Mr. Emerick was retired from Monco Products as a bagger. He was Protestant by faith and a was a member of the Rostraver Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Forsythe) Emerick; three sons, David T. Emerick, of Rostraver Township, Mark A. Emerick, of West Newton, Brian L. Emerick, of Arnold City; a daughter, Connie L. Courie, of West Newton; 10 grandchildren, April and Anthony Harrold, Edin Emerick, Jerid Emerick, Justen Emerick, Josh Emerick, Amber Emerick, Izryah Emerick, Brian Emerick Jr. and Adrianna Emerick; a great-grandson, Noah Harrold; and a brother, Robert D. Emerick, of Fayette City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John R. A steelworker, Mr. Emerick was a member of a variety of social clubs. He is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne (Reconnu) Emerick; a son and daughter-in-law, Sheridan Lee Jr. and Coleen Emerick of Monongahela, a daughter, LuAnn Hardesty of Webster, four brothers, Ore Emerick of Perryopolis, John Emerick of Belle Vernon, Gerald Emerick of Akron, Ohio and Robert Emerick of Fayette City, a sister Alberta Palmer of Monessen, three grandchildren, John Hardesty, Justin Hardesty and Cody Kimmel; three step-grandchildren; Gary, Nathaniel and Troy Pauley; two step-great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Betty Everely Tineri and her family in Donora. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Emerick; and four brothers, Charles, Theodore, DuWayne and Albert Emerick.
