Name |
Benjamin WHEELOCK [1, 2] |
- Benjamin Wheelock was one of the proprietors of the town of Mendon, Mass., and his name appears on the founders' monument now standing on "Mendon's Sacred Ground", a park where the early settlement was made. He was the owner of an early corn mill in Mendon, and in 1713 made over the mill privilege to his sons Benjamin and Obediah. The death of Benjamin Wheelock is not shown in Mendon records, neither has any record been found of the settlement of his estate. [1]
