Jack Phillip Cazey, Sr., 91, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 in Franklin.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, October 14, at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Burial will follow in Norwood Cemetery in Hearne, Texas. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday, at the funeral home.
He was born on December 20, 1918 in New Baden, Texas to Willie and Margaret Cazey. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and also attended business college. Mr. Cazey owned and operated several different businesses during his lifetime. He also was a rancher. He was a lifelong resident of Robertson County and served during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jack Phillip Cazey, Jr.; and brothers, J.W. and Earl Cazey.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn & Tommy Dotson of Hearne; three grandchildren, Tara Fletcher of Katy, Brandi Dotson of Houston and Jay Reeder of Houston; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
