Anthony Howkins in his will, mentions (2) wife Ann; children, John, Ruth, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, and sons-in-law, John "Tomson" and John Judd. "Sarah Howkins, daughter of Anthony Howkins and sister of John Howkins, dec. being now decd (5 Dec 1678), her estate is divided among her 4 sisters, Mary Judd, Ruth Hart, Elizabeth Brinsmade and Hannah Howkins equally.
