    • George Wolcott came with his parents from England. He was made a freeman by the General Court of Connecticut, May 21, 1657, and settled in Wethersfield. His history is more obscure than that of his brothers. The names of his children are given in the Family Chronology but none of their descendants. We learn from this that he m. Elizabeth Treat, and d. at Wethersfield, Feb. 12, 1662. and from the Probate Records that the Christian name of his wife was Elizabeth. [1]
