David FANCHER [1] |
- David Fancher was a carpenter before marriage and a farmer afterward. he was an enlisted man in Capt. Jonathan Bell's Company, General Wooster's Ninth Regiment, from 24 Oct. 1777 to 24 Dec 1777 and served at home.
He was on the list of members of St. John's Episcopal Church in Stamford in 1784. William, Sylvanus and David Fancher, of Norwalk and Stamford, were in the same regiments in the Revolution, the families were very close, and children of David and Sylvanus went to Warwick, NY, early in the 1800's.
