      ALBERTA JEAN PALMER - MONESSEN

      Alberta Jean Palmer, 77, Monessen, died Tuesday, jan. 20, 2004, in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1926, in Fayette City, a daughter of the late Albert Emerick and Luetta Biles Emerick. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Ann Palmer of Monessen, three sons, Norman Palmer of Monessen, Joseph Palmer and wife Michelle of Fairfax, VA., and John Palmer and wife Linda of Monessen; 10 grandchildren, Mrs. Russ (Bobbi Jo) Morgan, John "Bubba", Phillp, Travis, Shaun, Lisa, John Carlos, Thomas, Jonathan and Sarah Palmer; two great-grandchildren, Stacia Morgan and Jacob Palmer; three borthers, Gerald Emerick of Akron, Ohio, John Emerick of Belle Vernon, and Robert Emerick of Fayette City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Palmer; one son, Phillip Palmer Jr.; six brothers, Orie, Sheridan, Charles, Duwane, Theodore and Albert Aaron Emerick; and one Sister, Joyce Ann. Friends will be received at the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. [1]
