DR. ALLEN REAM BILES
Allen Ream Biles was born August 9, 1921 in Allenport, Pa. to Louis hayes Biles and Hazel Viola Ream - Biles.
He was born at home in the Biles' Homestead in Allenport on the Monogahalea River in Washington County.
He was the 2nd oldest child of the 5 children his parents had and he was the oldest son. He joined the U.S. Army in 1939 when he was 18 years old. He was a W.W.II Veteran with 13 years served in the U.S. Army Military Police. He became a MP Sargent. He was part of the invasion at Normandy and received a "Purple Heart" for a bullet he received in his left knee.
Allen served under General Eisenhower in Germany at the end of the war, rescuing the living prisoners from the death camps.
Allen left the Military in 1952 and moved to Pontiac, Michigan. He was a Deputy Sheriff with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, leaving in 1956 to work for GM's Pontiac Motor Division as a Security Officer in Pontiac, Michigan. He retired from General Motors with 31 years of service.
During this time Allen earned his Doctor of Divinity Degree and also became an Ethical Hypnotist.
He became a 33rd Degree Master Mason, served as a Worshipful Master at Roosevelt Lodge in Pontiac.
He was also a Member of the Knights Templar and the Rosicrucian Society.
Allen LOVED to have lengthy discourse on philosophy and religion. He produced many teachings on Meditation, Higher Thought and the relationship between the Un-conscious Mind and the Conscious Mind.
In 1942 he married Grace Ray and they had three (3) boys; Allen David, Harve and William. Harve drowned at age 9 in the Monogahalea River in Charleroi, PA. He and Grace divorced about 1949 and he married a German woman named Giesla. They were only married 2 1/2 years.
On June 22, 1957 he married Jeanette Ann Frick of Waterford, Michigan and they had one son, Allen Lloyd who was raised as an Only Child. Allen & Jeanette were divorced on April 12, 1974.
He married Ellen Felice in 1976 and they were divorced the same year. No Children.
He married Carrie Jo Hubble in 1978 and they were divorced in 1979. No Children.
At the end of Allen Ream Biles' life he was a man who had many acquaintances, but few close friends.
He cared deeply for his childhood friend David Lauder of Belle Vernon, PA.
At his death, Allen Ream Biles had 9 Grand-children.
Allen David fathered 3 sons - David, Samuel & Adam.
Allen Lloyd fathered 6 children; 4 sons - Allen II, Steven, Christopher & Kevin - 2 daughters; Andrea & Lydia.
Mr. Biles was cremated and his ashes are buried in the Plot at the foot of his beloved Mother, Hazel Viola Ream - Biles. [2]
