  Notes	Excerpt from "The Whiteney Family of Connecticut": Rhoda married Robert Escot, "resident in Stamford, an Englishman from London." They afterward resided in New York City. She died at Darien, Conn., at the house of her brother, Josiah Whitney, 16 Aug. 1829 in the 73rd year of her age. She was buried in Darien, and her gravestone bears the name "Rhoda Scott." They had not children.
