Excerpt from the Chazy Historian: " Henry, the oldest son of David Slosson, m. Lucy ?, they lived in Grand Isle where two children were born, then came to Chazy where five more children were born. The first son was S. Henry, he went away. The second son was Areta who became a physician and practised a number of years in Chazy. He married Pamela Cummings: they had seven children, probable all born in Chazy. His son, Sidney died here in 1846 at the age of seven. The family went to Wisconsin in 1854. Other children of Henry, Lucy, Lorenzo and Mary all went west. Elizabeth m. ? Lawrence."
