- George Neville, Knt., 4th Lord Bergavenny, second but first surviving son and heir by first marriage, was born at Raby Caste, Durham, and baptised at Staindrop, Durham, in 1435. He was summoned to Parliament from 15 Nov 1482 by writs directed 'Georgio Nevyle de Bergevenny chr.' He married for the first time to Margaret Fenne. They had five sons and two daughters. [1]
