- He immigrated in Apr 1635 to Boston at age one on the ship "Abigail". He was probably master of that ship in which Col. Cartwright, one of the royal commissioners was going home n the autumn of 1665, taken by the Dutch. He commanded a company of soldiers in Philip's War, serving at Hadley in 1676 under his father-in-law, Maj. Thomas Savage. [1]
