    DEATH OF MRS. JAMES GUNDERMAN

    Mrs. James Gunderman, aged 38, of 212 McGinnes street, died in the Mercy hospital at 6:15 o'clock Saturday night of burns that she had received about 5:30 o'clock that morning, when flames from a range fire that she had poured kerosene oil on, leaped up and ignited her clothing. particulars of the fire were found in Saturday night's Times-Leader. immediately following the accident the woman was rushed to the hospital, but every effort to ease her pain and prolong her life were futile and she passed away.

    Mrs. Gunderman had been a resident here for a number of years, and she was known to hundreds of friends and acquaintances, who were grieved to learn of the fatal accident which befell her. She is survived by her husband and two children, Elmer and Margaret. her mother, Mrs. Naomi Morgan, of Scranton, and one brother, Evor Stephens in the U.S. navy, also survive.

    The remains have been taken to the home of John Upton, 21 Pierce street from where the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted at the home at 2 o'clock and Rev. Roy Brague, pastor of the Pilgrim Congregational Church will officiate. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
