    George Cotton, Knt., of Combermere, co. Chester, Sheriff of Denbighshire Esquire of the Body to King Henry VIII, second son, was born at Cotton, co. Salop, about 1505. He married Mary Onley, they had one son and four daughters. He and his wife wereg ranted the abbey of Combermere by the King, and the manors of Wilkesley and Pulton, co. Chester.

    George married Mary ONLEY before 11 Nov 1537 in Combermere. Mary died on 14 Mar 1559/60. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
