    Leroy Osborn, son of Millard and Chloe Shadrick Osborn, Was born March 13, 1928, in Macks Creek, Missouri and departed this life August 15, 2011, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years.

    In 1949, "Pee-Wee," as he was known to family and friends, made a profession of faith and acccepted Christ as his Savior. He then became an active and faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Lebanon, where he remained, as long as his health allowed. The fellowship he shared with his church family was very special to him.

    On May 24, 1947, Leroy was united in marriage with the love of his life Eva Mae Jones. To this union was born two children, both surviving. At the time of his passing, they had shared sixty-four years of love and laughter together.

    Leroy worked hard and new the importance of perseverance. He worked at Owen Garage for six years before becoming a dairy farmer. He owned and operated the farm with his son for forty-three years, before switching to beef cattle. Leroy took great pride in his livestock and farm. those who knew him knew he could be found tending to the farm from sun up to sun down.

    He is survived by his wife Eva Mae of the home; one son, Paul and his wife Annette; one daughter, Linda Bradshaw and her husband Harold, all of Lebanon; three granddaughters, Andrea Wright of Lebanon, Tricia Cusic of Marshfield, Mo and Jill Ambrose and her husband Vince, also of Lebanon; five great-grandchildren, Alex and Jessica Wright, Ashley Cusic and Zachary and Hunter Ambrose; two sisters-in-law, Isolene Jones of Lebanon, Mo and Geneva Wrinkle of Hobb, New Mexico; a number of nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

    Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nadine Johnson; one brother, Charles Osborn; four half-brothers Glenn and Gordon Osborn, Dale and Don Whipple; and one half-sister, Dorothy Howe; two brothers-in-law, Bert Jones and Ralph Wrinkle.

    Leroy was a wonderful husband, caring father, and loving grandfather. He was a friend to all and could light up the room with his contagious laughter. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

    Services for Leroy were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 19, 2011 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Marshall & Rev. David Brown officiating. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, Soloist & DeLores Shadel, Pianist. Escorts were Jack Randolph, Mike Frieze, Rick Lowrance, Greg Snyder, Michael Jones, & Danny Burns. Honorary escorts were Charley Lowrance, Alvin Jackson, Charley Bailey, Glenn Montgomery, Kenny Kneedler, J.W. Henson, Dwight Bethurem, Fred Southard, Mike Esther, & Tom Van Stavern.
