Name:
At the time of his marriage to Dorothy, he was thirty-six years old and his wife twenty. In 1655, he moved from Hartford, Conn., to Northampton, Mass., where his daughter Margery, was born. His wife died in giving birth to her. He signed the church covenant there June 18, 1661. Two years later he had contributed three acres of lad towards the settlement of a minister at Northampton.

John married Abigail BASCOM on 12 Dec 1657. Abigail was born about 1640; was christened on 7 Jun 1640 in Windsor, Connecticut; died in Apr 1666. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
