    I am making this note that I received regarding Joseph Woodbridge. Joseph's death is listed as 3 Aug 1796, it is also the same death date as his son Jahleel. So there seems to be some misunderstanding as to when he died. I change his death for now. Further research will be needed.

In actuality that is the death and public life of his son Jahleel Woodbridge, b. ca 1730 by wife Eliz. Merrick Barnard....

    The Shepard Collection are cards for Mass. people. It has Joseph Woodbridge, husb. of Elz. (Merrick) Barnard as died 1783 Stockbridge, MA. No dod for Eliz. Merrick."

    Her source is "The Woodbridge Record" by Louis Mitchell, published in 1883.
