William was a man of note who settled at Cambridge, Mass., in 1631, but returned to England and married his wifein 1633; their three children were Samuel, Sarah (wife of John Cae), and Elizabeth who married first William Wellman and second Jacob Joy, having eight children by the former and four by the latter.
