Their eldest son, William m. Elizabeth Winters, they lived in Chazy until 1867 and went west at the same time as his father. William and Elizabeth had three children born in Chazy, Anson Jr., Herbert Lewis and Nellie. william and Elizabeth were divorced, she died in Kansas 1897. He m. (2) Clara Orr at Potsdam and went back west."
