JAMES SLAWSON, 73, DIES HERE

James Nathan Slawson, 73 years old, died unexpectedly in his residence, 1154 East Garfield street, yesterday evening from heart attack.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Resident of Phoenix for 10 years, Mr. Slawson was a native of Ohio, where he was a painter-contractor for many years. He followed the same business here until retiring three years ago. march 4 of this year, Mr. and Mrs. Slawson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Slawson, and to sons, Rex J. and Grant W. Slawson, both, living here,.




SLAWSON, James Nathan--Services conducted by Rev. H.A. Anspach will be held today at 4 p.m. from Memory Chapel of A.L. Moore and Sons. Interment in Greenwood.
