    Florenna J. Harvey, 92, of 1100 W. Long Ave., DuBois, formerly of Sykesville, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

    Born June 20, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Effie A. Sykes Humphrey. She married Donald L. Harvey June 22, 1943. He preceded her in death Sept. 13, 1998.

    Florenna was a 1941 graduate of Sykesville High School and also graduated from DuBois Business College. She was a homemaker.

    She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Sykesville.

    Florenna is survived by a daughter, Kathleen J. Gray (Edward) of DuBois; a son, W. Scott Harvey (Joanie) of Rockton; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Blanche of DuBois.

    She was also preceded in death by five brothers: Dorsey, Jacob, Charles, Frank and James Humphrey and a sister, Ruth Kenney.

    There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville with the Rev. Tharren Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Sykesville Memorial Cemetery, Sykesville.

    Memorial donations may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, 100 E. Main St., Sykesville, PA 15865 or Christ the King Manor, 1100 W. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
