Mary married Edward DYRE in 1692 in Newport, Rhode island. Edward (son of Samuel DYRE and Anne HUTCHINSON) was born in 1667 in Newport, Rhode Island; died in 1760 in Providence, Providence Co., Rhode Island. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Excerpt from "Descendants of Roger Williams" bk 3:

William Greene; son of Capt John, Jr. and Anne (almy) Greene of Warwick, and brother of Job and Richard Greene, husbands of Mary's sisters, Phebe and Eleanor respectively. William's father was Deputy Governor of the Colony, and his grandfather, Surgeon John Greene, came to New England in 1635. He was one of the "original Proprietors" of Providence, and acquired the Occupasuetuxet Farm in 1642 from Chief Miantonomi.
William died "a victim of the severity of the marine service and the malarial climate into which the commerce of the Colony carried him". He is buried at Easton Cemeterym Middletown, with his wife's parents.

William married Mary SAYLES on 17 Dec 1674 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. Mary (daughter of John SAYLES and Mary WILLIAMS) was born on 11 Jul 1652 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island; died in 1717 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
