    Ethel M. Roloff (nee Davis) age 88 of West Bend died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Joseph?s Hospital in the Town of Polk. She was born May 21, 1920 in Rhinelander to the late Truman and Lillian (nee Lambert) Davis and married Norbert F. Roloff on July 6, 1941 in West Allis. Norbert preceded her in death on February 26, 2005.

    Ethel graduated from Solomon Juneau High School in Milwaukee. She had a love for art and enjoyed painting, attending painting classes and photography. She enjoyed reading, baking and antiquing. She also loved spending time with her family and fishing at their cottage in Marinette County.

    She is survived by her 2 daughters: Linda (David) Bales of West Bend and Susan Donton of San Ramon, CA and 5 grandchildren: Michael (Wendy) Bales, Michele (Bryan) White, Sara (Tony) Esser, Christopher Donton and Sean Donton. She is further survived by her 6 great-grandchildren: Eliza, Natalie, Katherine, Jacob, Abigail and Jack, her 4 sisters: Lorraine White of CA, Lila Mae Kelley of TX, Shirley Woodford of CA and Germaine Zabler of WI and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

    Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Norbert Roloff, her parents Truman and Lillian Davis and 3 brothers: Russell Davis, Truman Davis Jr. and Dennis Davis.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Hubertus with Rev. Charles Hanel presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Richfield. Visitation will be Friday, at the church only from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
