Thomas Grey and Cecily Bonville had three sons and six daughters. he was created 'Marquess of Dorset' on 18 Apr 1475. He was summoned to parliament from 15 Nov 1482 by writs directed 'Thome Marchioni Dors'. In January 1482/3 on the death of his grandmother, Elizabeth, lady Ferrers of Groby, he became Lord Ferrers of Groby. "Thomas Gray, mercus Dorsett of Asteley', died testate aged fifty on 20 Sep 1501, and was buried at Astley, co Warwick.

Thomas married Cecily BONVILLE on 18 Jul 1474. Cecily (daughter of William BONVILLE and Katherine NEVILLE) was born about 1461; died between 12 Apr and 02 Jun 1530; was buried in Astley, co. Warwick. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

They had two sons. Sir John Grey was slain, on the Lancastrian side, at the second battle of St. Albans on 17 Feb. 1460/1. His widow was married secretly for the second time at her father's manor of Grafton regis, co. Northampton, on 1 May 1464 to EDWARD IV OF ENGLAND, King of England. They had ten children. She w2as crowned at Westminster on 26 May 1465. She died tesate at Bermondsey Abbey, Surrey, where for some time she had resided, or had been compelled by King Henry VII to reside, on 7 or 8 June 1492, and was buried at St. George's Chapel, Windsor, co. Berks, with the King, her second husband.

John married Elizabeth WOODVILLE. Elizabeth (daughter of Richard WOODVILLE and Jacquetta Of LUXEMBOURG) was born about 1437; died in 7 or 8 June 1492. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
