U.S. Veteran William B. ?Bill? Bonner, JR. age 78, of Courtland, MS passed away Sunday morning, September 1, 2013 at his home.
The visitation service will be Friday evening September 6, 2013 at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM. The family request that casual ?best blue jeans? attire be worn.

Mr. Bill was born October 25, 1934 in Mississippi to the late William Bufford Bonner, SR. and Zelma Elizabeth Burchell. He was a retiree of General Motors and served his country faithfully in the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, James Bonner.

Mr. Bonner?s memory will be lived on by his daughter, Judy Ann (Omar) Bahaeddin of Pacifica, CA; two sisters, Dorothy Boatright of Courtland, MS, Elenar Freeman of Batesville, MS; two grandchildren, Michael and Alexandra Ganster of Illinois; one great grandchild, Anya McKinnion of Illinois.

Judith L. Gay-Parks (Bonner), age 74, of Morris and a former longtime Channahon resident, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home on Monday, December 1, 2014. Born in Channahon on June 8, 1940, to Anna (nee Long) and the late William G. Gay.

Beloved mother of Judy Ann (Omar) Bahaeddin of Pacifica, CA and the late James Bonner in infancy; loving grandmother of Alex Ganster and Michael Ganster both of Joliet; proud great-grandmother of the light of her life, "Little Miss" Anya Rosella McKinnon; dearest daughter of Anna Rosella Gay of Channahon; loving sister of Harriet (late Edward) Wicburg of Oceanside, CA, William Gay and Robert (Colleen) Gray both of Channahon; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Charles "Charlie" Parks and William Bonner; father, William Gay; and son, James.

Judith retired from Fisher Body of Willow Springs after many years of service. She also worked at Silver Cross Hospital and the Ammunition Plant (APSA) in her younger years. Funeral Services for Judith L. Parks will be Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Interment Willard Grove Cemetery, Channahon. Visitation TODAY Wednesday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Judy's wish was for everyone to wear their favorite jeans at her wake and funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.

Anna Rosella Gay

Anna Rosella (nee Long) Gay, a long time Channahon resident who was celebrating her 100th year, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

She was born December 22, 1915, the daughter of the late William and Julia (nee Hulbert) Long in Channahon where she was raised. In 1949, Anna and her family moved to Joliet, and she began a long career at Silver Cross Hospital, retiring in 1980.

Survived by her daughter, Harriet (late Ed) Wicburg of Oceanside, CA; two sons, William G. Gay and Robert A. (Colleen) Gray, both of Channahon, IL; grandchildren, Edward (Tamera) Wicburg, David (Charlie) Wicburg, Teri (Bob) Hume; Judy Ann (Omar) Bahaeddin, Tammy (Richard) Bartel, Robert A. (Janelle) Gray, Jr. and Georgette Salazar; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband, William (1972); daughter, Judith Parks (2014); and grandchildren, James Bonner (1959), William De Lucio (2008) and Lori Wicburg (2009).

Anna loved her family very much. She loved traveling, Bingo, reading the Enquirer and playing the slot machines. A member of Channahon Women's Relief Corp. and Channahon United Methodist Church.

The family of Anna Gay will always remember the kindness and care that Rev. McGuire and the nurses of Joliet Area Community Hospice provided her throughout her latter stages.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Interment to follow in Willard Grove Cemetery, Channahon. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
