William H. Wilson, 89, a retired farmer, died December 10 at a Belding convalescent home after a lingering illness. He lived most of his life at a farm on Palmer road.

He was born in Orange township, Ionia county, August 1 1872, and was married in February 1909 to Carrie Tallman who died in 1950.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Belding Baptist church, Baptist Brotherhood and Good Fellowship clubs.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Samuel Abbott of Fort Myers, Fla. and Mrs. Victoria Cowen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and one grandson, Albert Jensen of Greenville.

Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding with the rev. Frank Gillett of Belding Baptist church, officiating. Burial will
be at Tuttle cemetery near Ionia.

Mrs. Wm. Wilson Died Tuesday

Carrie Dorcas Tallman Wilson passed away at the city hospital Tuesday morning at 8 o?clock after a long illness. She was a patient at the hospital for two months and for the past five months she has been faithfully and tenderly cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jensen at Cook?s Corners. Because of complications,
she was returned to the hospital last week.

Left to mourn their loss are the husband, William Wilson, a grandson, Albert Jensen of R. 3, one brother, Ed Tallman of Ionia and nieces and nephews, Dr. Ralph Tallman, of Chicago, Leon Tallman, Trufant, Mrs. Beulah Howard, Lansing, Mrs. Winnie McNames, Grand Ledge and Mrs. Gertrude Couchman of near Greenville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o?clock at Ellis funeral home, Rev. Albert H. Gage and Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial will be in Tuttle cemetery, south of Ionia.

Pallbearers will be Wes Porter, Walter Knight, A. C. Loyer, Harry Trull, Luther Berry and Ernie Benton.
