  1. 1.  William AUBREY died between 5 Feb 1683/4 to 10 Dec 1684 in dates of will and probate.

    Notes:

    Name:
Rachel Rawson married Boston 18 Jan. 1652/3, WILLIAM AWBREY (or AUBREY), who came from London in 1650 to serve as accountant for the Lynn and Braintree ironworks. His job ended in controversy.

The Awbreys are not seen in Massachusetts records after 1656. However, a 1667 deed witnessed by Willam Aubrey in Dublin, Ireland (and recorded by Edward Rawson in suffolk County, Mass.) suggests by then they had relocated to Ireland. "M Aubrey" is mentioned in correspondence from Dublin's Congregational pastor Nathaniel Mather to his brother Rev Increase Mather of Boston, from 1676 to 1684, and three letters link her to "Mr. Rawson." William Awbrey's will was probated in Dublin 10 Dec 1684. In it he names his wife "Rachell" and a son, "Mr. Thomas Awbrey."

William married Rachel RAWSON on 18 Jan 1652/3 in Boston, Massachusetts. Rachel (daughter of Edward RAWSON and Rachel PERNE) was christened on 19 Jan 1636/7. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
