    BERTHA RUDE DILKS

    Bertha Rude Dilks, 75, of Old Back Road, Dividing Creek died Wednesday afternoon at Bridgeton Hospital after a short illness.

    Born in Bridgeton, she had been a resident of Dividing Creek for 33 years and was formerly a resident of Millville.

    Mrs. Dilks had owned and operated Dilks Florist for 16 years, retiring in 1973.

    She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Bridgeton, the Missionary Society and the Ladies Bible Class.

    The wife of the late Rev. Jerry Dilks, she is survived by two sons, James D. Dilks of Divinding Creek and Jerry Dilks of Port Elizabeth; three daughters, Naomi R. Hunter of Goldsboro, Md., Ethel Yearicks of Millville and Rebecca Wilson of Dividing Creek; two brothers, Harry Moore and Richard Pauling, both of Millville, 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

    Services will be held 1p.m. Saturday from the First Church of the Nazarene, 350 W. Park Drive.

    Interment will be made in Dividing Creek Baptist Cemetery.

    Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 8:30p.m. at the Robert V. Hoffman Funeral Home, S High Street, Port Norris, and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
