Name:
John Wolseley is the son of Ralph Wolseley, of Wolseley, by Margaret, daughter of Robert Aston, Knt., of Heywood. They had two sons and eleven daughters. He succeeded his father at Wolseley in 1504 and inherited problems from the land enclosure and had lengthy disputes with the Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield.
