    Alice was the daughter of Sarah (Gibbs) and Columbus Sandborn.
    She was united in marriage on Dec. 3, 1905 to Mr. Clement W. Crapo.

    Obituary of Mrs. Crapo, published in The Portland Observer, Thursday, March 19, 1914:
    Mrs. Alice Crapo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Sandborn Sr., of Portland, died at Ionia Wednesday afternoon of pneumonia, following a very brief illness.
    Her mother and brother, L. W. Sandborn, the latter of Sebewa, were with her when she breathed her last.
    The husband and four children survive.
    Funeral services will be held at Ionia Saturday but the hour had not been decided upon when the Observer's forms closed.
    The body will be interred in Portland.
    Mrs. Crapo resided in Sebewa township for many years, and her death will be a keen shock to residents of that section.

    The body of Mrs. C. W. Crapo was removed to Portland Friday pm where the funeral and burial took place Saturday.
    Mrs. Crapo was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Sandborn, Sr., of that village.
    Her mother and a brother L. W. Sandborn of Sebewa, were with her at the time of her death. She also leaves her husband and four children. Her death is a great shock to many friends there and here.
    Mrs. May Nichols returned to Bay City this morning, taking two of the children of her sister, the late Mrs. C. W. Crapo, whom she will care for there. The oldest boy has been taken by Mr. Crapo's brother Nelson Crapo of Battle Creek, while one of the girls is with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Sandborn of Portland.
