    Name:
    "Whitcomb Family Genealogy": "had lime kilns, was a tanner, currier, blacksmith, shoemaker and made coffins. By a deed, October 20, 1710, he was a 'cordwainer,' The old dam still remains, and places can be seen, where he got his lime rock." --G.A.G. He was married may 15, 1716, to Deliverance Nutting, daughter of James Nutting and granddaughter of John Nutting, the wedding taking place at Groton, Mass. He died somewhere about 1767 or 1770; his wife was living as late as 1774 in Lancaster, Mass.
