Excerpt from "Royality for Commoners": taken captive to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar II as noted on tables found in Babylon dating from the reign of Nebuchadnezzar II, 595-570, where is listed the deliveries of rations of oil and barley tothe captive Jehoiachim and five of his sons, among others.

1 Chronicles 3:17-20
These are the sons who were born to King Jeconiah during the years that he was under house arrest: She-altiel, Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, Nedabiah.

Pedaiah was the father of Zerubbabel and Shime-i.

Zerubbabel's children were: Meshullam, Hananiah, Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, Shelomith (a daughter).
