for Ernie Pettit

Ernie R. Pettit, 77, of Lewiston, died on Monday, June 23, at his home following a short illness. He was born in McBride in 1881, a former resident of Flint, he lived in Lewiston 22 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred; six daughters, Mrs. Eileen Garb of Mt. Morris, Mrs. Mitta Turcotte of Flushing, Mrs. Nina Goodman of Owosso, Mrs. Iva Rex, Mrs. Loria Violette, and Mrs. Sylvia Ward, all of Flint; and one brother, Clarence, of Estey.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the R.L.D.S. Church,in Bentley. Elder John Umphrey will officiate and burial will be in the Bentley cemetery. Mr. Pettit's grandsons will be pallbearers. Gladwin County Record dated 6-25/1958.
