She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, the Royal Neighbors, Eagles Auxiliary,and the VFW Auxiliary, all of Great Bend.
Survivors: sons: George Leroy Bishop, and David Charles Bishop, both of Sun Vail, Calif.; Morris Crouse, Albert; Melvin Crouse, Colwyn, Penn.; daughter: Mrs. Donna Lou Schmidt, Perry Hall, Md.; brothers: Lawrence Brown, and Emery Brown, both of Sedan; 24 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be announced later.

Great Bend-J. Wesley Brown, 82, a resident of Barton county for 60 years, died Monday at St. Rose hospital here. He came here from Nebraska in 1885, locating on a farm north of Dartmouth, now operated by a son, Gary Brown. The funeral will be Thursday, 2:30 p. m. at the Cook mortuary chapel.
