Balthasar De Wolf, the first known American Ancestor mentioned in Court Records of Hartford, Conn.,march 5, 1656; mentioned in Wethersfield, Conn., 1664; first named in Lyme records, 1668; living in 1695. In 1677, he was chosen "Committee of the town."
