FORMER RESIDENT OF BANGOR DIES
BANGOR, Feb. 21 Mrs. Gertrude Slawson, 68, widow of the late George Slawson of Bangor, died Thursday in Hastings, Michigan, at the home of a daughter. Her husband, who died 11 years ago, was a former music store owner here.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Sherrod's chapel, with Mrs. Thomas A. Church, Christian Science reader, conducting the service. Burial will be made in Arlington Hill cemetery.
