  	Blanda I. "Nana" Slawson, 82, Reynolds Avenue, DuBois, died Wednesday at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born May 20, 1926, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Margaret I. Hoyt Doverspike. She was married to James Slawson Jr. Aug. 19, 1950. He preceded her in death May 29, 2002. She worked at Riverside Market on Main Street in DuBois for 25 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Mt. Zion's "Young at Heart". She is survived by one son, Robert J. Slawson of Clearfield; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Janie) Hunter of DuBois and Mrs. G. William (Nancy) Pringle of Penfield; two brothers, Elton Doverspike of DuBois and Boyd Doverspike of Salt Lake City, Utah; three sisters: Bonita Faulk of Butler, Verna Dewald of Williamsport and Arwilda Graham of Avon Lake, Ohio; and four grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, George Creston Doverspike. [1]
