    Rudolph Waldemar Fagerstrom, 71, Milwaukee, died Saturday, Oct. 2 at River Hills West. He was born May 17, 1922 at Sister Bay.
    Mr. Fagerstrom retired after 34 years of service at WTMJ-TV, a Journal Communications Company, where he worked as a television engineer supervisor.
    He is survived by his wife, Helen (Larson) Fagerstrom, daughters, Rita (Jeffery) Couillard and Joanne (Kurt) Kohls; a son, todd; six grandchildren, and brothers, Donald (Mary) Glen (Pat) and Vincent (Masako). He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
    Rev. John E. Skanse will officiate at funeral services Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Deerwood Baptist Church, 8710 N. Deerwood Dr., Milwaukee, where visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Interment will be at Little Sister Cemetery, Sister Bay.
    Krause Funeral HOme, Milwaukee, is in charge of arrangements.

    Lieutenant Colonel Donald W. Fagerstrom of Chicopee, Massachusetts passed away on January 14, 2014 following his short battle with kidney and bone cancer. He had been a patient at Willimansett Center West since December 4th 2013. Donald was born on October 11, 1924 in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin to the late Waldemar and Hilda Fagerstrom of Sister Bay, WI. He graduated from Gilbraltar High School in 1942. A popular student, Don played football, basketball, and baseball for the Vikings. Don also played the coronet with the school's band and a local five piece boys' band and was a member of the Glee Club. Following high school, Don drove for the Bay View bus company and met Mary LeClair. The couple married on October 23rd, 1945.Donald entered the Air Force in 1945 and served until 1968. While in the Air Force, Don was stationed in Guam, California, Texas ,Mississippi, Maine, and Massachusetts. His many positions in the military included air plane crew member and bombardier on B-52s and intelligence gathering. He was active in the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He enjoyed serving his country to the best of his ability. Don was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Erick, Rudy, Glen and Vinny; sisters Ruth and Anna. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (LeClair) of 66 years (10/48);daughters Lynn, wife of Larry Bennis of Chicopee, MA and Nancy, wife of John O'Leary of Reading, PA. Five grandchildren: Aaron Nugent, Ben and Molly Kwiatkowski, Chicopee, MA and Joseph and Jacquelyn O'Leary, Reading, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Donald worked as a residential and commercial insurance inspector from 1970 - 1985 after retiring the Air Force. He enjoyed taking on home remodeling projects, tending to his immaculate lawn, flowers and vegetable gardens, chopping wood for the winter fireplace, Friday night dinners in town and at the NCO club a Westover air Force Base. His attention to detail was unsurpassed. Don was an avid golfer who played the game well and passed on that love to his grandsons Ben and Joe. The Funeral Service will be held at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. with a period of Visitation beginning at 12 Noon. The burial with Military Honors will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.     GLEN H. FAGERSTROM
    (July 18, 1930- June 28, 2012)

    Glen H. Fagerstrom, age 81 of Sister Bay died on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Scandia Village Care Center after a 14 month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. glen was born on July 18, 1930 in Sister Bay, WI to the late Waldemar and Hilda Fagerstrom in Sister Bay, WI. He served in the United States Navy from 1950-1954. he was a member of the Blue jackets Choir and was a korean War Veteran. he was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rudy, Vincent and Eric; sisters, Ruth and Anna. He is survived by his loving wife Pate of 52 years; one son, Russell, (Special Friend Rita), Green Bay WI and one daughter, Lisa Mathaya, of Egan, MN; three grandchildren, Brittany Fagerstrom, Eric Fagerstrom and Scheri Mathaya, one bother Donal (Mary) Chicope, Mass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Glen worked as an electrician in the Door County area for 35 years, retiring as Partner/Owner of Action Electric in December of 1990. Glen was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sister Bay all his life, serving in many capacities. Psalm 112 describes him well! He was an active member in the American Legion Post 527 for over 50 years. He enjoyed golfing with his "buddies" and riding with the Bicycle Club. He and Pat very much enjoyed the 14 years spent as Volunteers in the SOWERS-(~A'-ants-eB-Wheels Ever Ready) organization using his electrical skills for needy Christian missions, Lake Ellen Baptist Camp, as well as his volunteer service in "Comer Of the Past". Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. The family would like to express their sincere thank you for all the loving care that Glen received while he was at Scandia Village. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church, Sister Bay, Rawhide Boys Ranch or Scandia Village Capital Campaign.

    Vincent A. Fagerstrom - HINESVILLE - Vincent A. Fagerstrom, 76, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Candler Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Fagerstrom was born on January 18, 1933 in Sister Bay, WI to the late Waldemar and Hilda Fagerstrom. He served in the United States Army for twenty-nine years and was a Vietnam Veteran. Attaining the rank of Command Sergeant Major, he retired in 1981. Mr. Fagerstrom has lived in Hinesville for the past thirty years where he enjoyed Braves Baseball, his Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, and collecting vintage Thunderbirds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rudy Fagerstrom.
